Dibling

A dibling is a slang term used to describe a donor sibling, a person biologically related to someone else through egg, sperm, or embryo donation. It is a portmanteau of the words 'donor' and 'sibling.' The use of the term is not universally accepted in the donor-conceived community. Some individuals feel that it is an easy way to explain a donor-conceived person to young children, while to others the use of cutesy terms is unnecessary and even singles out donor-conceived people as different.
