QUESTION

How long does Clomid (Clomiphene Citrate) stay in your system?

ANSWER

Clomid remains in the body for a long period of time after taking the last dose. It takes five days for half of the drug to be eliminated. This is often referred to as the drug’s half-life or time it takes to get rid of 50%. The time to full elimination can be 25-30 days for it to be fully expelled from the body. However, Clomid has some active metabolites (drug that comes from the original drug after the body metabolizes it) that may remain in the body for longer.
