In fact, about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/reproductivehealth\/infertility\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>one in every eight<\/strong><\/a> couples has trouble conceiving or carrying a pregnancy to term.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>You\u2019re not alone.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are so many shared emotions and feelings being felt worldwide, but, sadly, some of us shoulder the emotional weight without seeking help. <strong>Even when it\u2019s right at our fingertips.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your help starts here. <strong>Welcome to FertilitySmarts.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It can be straight-up shocking to discover how not straightforward this process can be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With a diagnosis of secondary infertility (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fertilitysmarts.com\/definition\/271\/secondary-infertility\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">what the heck?<\/a>) and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fertilitysmarts.com\/5-things-i-learned-from-experiencing-pregnancy-loss\/2\/2196\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">having experienced pregnancy loss<\/a> (so confusing), FertilitySmarts\u2019 founder Kelly Park headed online to fill in the blanks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"how-fertilitysmarts-came-to-be\">How FertilitySmarts Came to Be<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Looking online didn\u2019t lead Kelly to the kind of information she was looking for. There were small sections on baby sites <strong>(no thanks)<\/strong>, large medical sites with brief overviews, and many others with thinly veiled attempts at selling her sketchy products. <strong>Again<\/strong>, no thanks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What Kelly was looking for was an evidence-based website about fertility that broke down the information in a <strong>helpful, easy-to-digest manner<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She also wanted to hear from other people who had been there and experienced that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Above all, <strong>Kelly wanted to be sure it was a source she could trust.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is exactly what we hope FertilitySmarts can be for you: A place you can count on to <strong>inform, support, and keep you company<\/strong> through all the highs and lows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"our-mission\">Our Mission<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Our goal is to be a trusted partner in helping to demystify the process of trying to get pregnant.
