Bio

Dr. Kitic is an Exercise Physiologist with a Ph.D. in Exercise Immunology and over 20 years of research experience in understanding how exercise affects the body. She is also a Senior University Lecturer in Exercise Prescription. Dr. Kitic runs The IVF Project, a world-first online exercise prescription service for women and men undergoing fertility treatments. Having experienced infertility and multiple cycles of IVF, Dr. Kitic wanted everyone to have access to evidence-based clinical exercise prescription to improve their chance of conception.

An Exercise Physiologist is an Allied Health Professional with the highest level of training to prescribe exercise for the prevention and treatment of clinical conditions. At a minimum, an Exercise Physiologist has completed a four-year University Bachelor Degree which equips them with the skills and competencies to design, deliver and evaluate safe and effective exercise interventions for people who have acute, sub-acute or chronic medical conditions, injuries and disabilities. Conditions such as unexplained infertility, polycystic ovary syndrome, endometriosis, male factor fertility issues, diabetes, and specialist weight management require expertise in exercise prescription to ensure the program you receive is safe AND effective. We know how exercise affects your endocrine, cardiovascular and musculoskeletal systems, and your wellbeing. At theivfproject.com we also know what assisted reproductive treatments do to your body and how to adjust your exercise prescription accordingly!
