FertilitySmarts Explains Grand Multigravida
Healthcare providers often abbreviate a woman’s obstetric history based on gravidity and parity (the number of times a woman gave birth to a child, be it a live birth or stillbirth). A person who is described as G5 P2 has had five pregnancies and given two births. Similarly, a woman described as G5, P0 has had five pregnancies, but zero deliveries.
